A man stole an empty American Airlines bus at JFK Airport and drove it 20-miles through three New York City boroughs before being ensnared by police.

Burshawn Quildon, 43, who was eventually arrested in downtown Brooklyn, was heard asking NYPD officers as he was brought into custody: 'I'm going to jail, right?'

The hijacking happened at around 1.30am on Wednesday morning and saw him take the bus north into Queens, before crossing into Manhattan and traveling south along the east side of the island before entering Brooklyn via the Brooklyn Bridge.

Nobody was injured in the process and the bus appeared unscathed when it was eventually brought to a stop.
